Last week’s post disussed two great author’s contributions to children’s literature and specifically, the alphabet. Once again we see some life lessons in No Excuses! by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer with Kristina Tracy.
Not so much about how kids make excuses but how those who are leading them can carve a path of negative self esteem and stunted potential. Although, important for kids to read and learn how to capitalize on their goals and dreams, this book is a great opportunity for adults, parents and teachers to read and see how their impact on a child’s life is affecting their future. Be careful what you say to little ones because they look up to you for guidance, direction and resources.
Rememeber their plans for life has been created by someone greater. They are not to fit our mold and our dreams. They have goals, dreams and talents that have been created for them. Alike to faith and Christian teachings, God has a plan for everyone’s life. And a child’s potential is as great as God wants it to be and as adults we need to be mindful of His plan for them and not ours.
