I Love You More than Rainbows by Susan E. Crites

Among the many children’s book reflecting the parent/child relationship – The Kissing Hand, Love You Forever and Guess How Much I Love You – Susan E. Crites’ book I Love You More Than Rainbows speaks right to the heart, mind and being of a young child.
This colorful and heart-tugging story – flows like a spring song – each little verse and rhyme is but another childhood memory and another aspect of life that children love and can relate to.
Crites is able to take this complex human emotion that we call ‘love’ and make it as clear as possible for the concrete mind to comprehend. I have to say that this book really did bring tears to my eyes as I read through. As I remembered all of the wonderful things about being a child – carefree playtime, singing, dreaming, the unconditional and innocent love shared with family and friends – I remenised and started to appreciate the love that has grown within from the time I was a child.
This story is one to be treasured not just at Valentine’s Day or Easter or Mother’s Day – although it is a wonderful memory and tradition to start. That is specifically why it was featured on February 15th on Examiner.com – Allentown Children’s Books Examiner – full article review. I felt that it was important to remind your little ones and to be reminded of how important it is to show love all the time and show how to love all the time. You will never forget to appreciate it!
Please if you have the chance pickup a copy of this great book and share it with your little ones, it may lift your spirits too!
