The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats

What else can I say? It was a ‘snowy day’ here in the Lehigh Valley on Wednesday and today the snow is piled high and with a lot of schools closed ” The Snowy Day” will be in full swing. Jackets and mittens, scarves and boots – snowmen, snowball fights and sledding galore. The “snowy day” activities will resume as little tots go to day care and preschool.
I know this was featured last year but this little snow tale never fails as the snow falls from the sky and kids (and adults) gaze in amazement and wonder. the child in all of us comes out in full swing as we throw snowballs and sing songs, sled and trudge through the crunchy snow. For more see here – activities, books and more.
Enjoy your ‘Snowy Day’ !!
