For the next eight nights, Hanukkah will be in full swing. It is also the first day of winter. How fitting that on the shortest day of the year that we celebrate – light, life and miracles – in the midst of the cold, darkness of winter.
Read the story of Hanukkah also contained in the Maccabees books. You can also check out the many books for children that tell the story of Hanukkah and how and why it is celebrated today in our culture and society.
