Back to School Reading Again

2015 Back to SchoolSchool is back in session and there is a lot going on this week. With schedules and lunches and bags and buses who has time for anything else? It seems that all the back to school mania can take over. Have no fear a collection of Back to School reading is here.
So kick back and enjoy some of these cute little reads for your back to school adventures.

It will be the very first day of school for a lot of little ones and our little friend Chu the sneezing panda makes quite a sneeze on his first day of school. Grab some tissues and join Chu and friends on the story carpet for Chu’s First Day of School by Neil Gaiman.

Some of our more experienced school kids are trying to help their younger sisters and brothers learn the ropes as they start their first day of school. Eva and Sadie are ready for school in Eva and Sadie: The Best Classroom Ever by Jeff Cohen, but Sadie is a little too eager for Eva to learn everything before the first day of school. Join these two sisters as they ease into the school year.

And Little Critter is back to school, too. But this year he’s not too sure about this new student who is too pleased to help the teacher all the time. Can Little Critter warm up to this new student? Find out in Just a Teacher’s Pet by Mercer Mayer.

Finally, don’t forget some of last year’s picks for back to school reading – whether you are starting kindergarten or moving on to another grade these old friends can make back to school fun and fresh. Share Little Lola, about a charming little cat’s day at school, Pinkalicious and the New Teacher as she copes with changes in the new school year and Fancy Nancy’s Fabulous Fall Storybook Collection for all your fun fall reading and adventures.
Have a great school year and read lots of fun tales.
